Packaging for water heaters is a key component in ensuring that the product is safely transported and protected. It usually consists of a combination of an external cardboard box and internal foam to protect the water heater during transport.

    Through the above test, we can understand the performance of the carton, and provide reliable data basis for enterprise packaging design.

    Corrugated cardboard is made of face paper, liner, core paper and corrugated paper processed into corrugated wave flute by bonding. According to the needs of commodity packaging, corrugated board can be processed into single-sided corrugated board, three-layer corrugated board, five-layer, seven-layer and other corrugated board.

   The function of the corrugated board bonded into corrugated board varies with different corrugated shapes. Even if the same quality of face paper and liner are used, the performance of the corrugated board will be different due to the difference in flute shapes. There are four types of corrugated flute shapes in common use internationally, namely, A-type flute, C-type flute, B-type flute and E-type flute. Their technical indicators and requirements are shown in Table I. A-type flute made of corrugated cardboard has a better cushioning, a certain degree of elasticity, C-type flute than A-type flute, followed by stiffness and impact resistance. However, the stiffness and impact resistance are better than that of A-type flute; B-type flute is arranged in high density, and the surface of the corrugated board is flat, with high bearing pressure, which is suitable for printing; E-type flute is thinner and denser, which presents its rigidity.We mainly use five-layer corrugated cardboard boxes with good compression resistance.

Inner Packaging: Foam

Foam packaging is a kind of packaging products made of foam material, usually used to play the role of protecting the contents. Foam packaging, usually referred to as foam packaging, mainly refers to the evaporable polystyrene (EPS) raw materials through the mould by thermal processing, the production of packaging products commonly known as "foam". Expandable polystyrene is an ideal packaging material, through the moulding process, it can be processed into various shapes and thicknesses according to the needs of packaging products. Under high load conditions, the material achieves cushioning and shock absorption through deformation, energy absorption, energy decomposition, etc., and at the same time, it has the functions of heat preservation and insulation.EPS packaging products are generally white in colour.

   Sealing bag Sealing bag, polyethylene (LDPE) and high-pressure linear polyethylene (LLDPE) blown film moulding, hot cutting machine bag, made of a kind of plastic bags can be repeated sealing. Accessories are mainly packaged in self-sealing bags, which are more convenient to take.

Different transport specifications packaging makes a difference: less than 10 units, a cardboard box packaging, baler sealing can be. Greater than 10 units, playing wooden pallet + winding film, easy to forklift loading, improve efficiency, reduce handling damage.
